The 2018 Los Angeles Auto Show kicks off today!

It’s one of the world’s largest motor shows and this year around 1,000 vehicles are expected to be involved in the event, including cars, trucks, electric vehicles, SUVs and so much more.

Every year, brands from the US and all over the world show-off their new production cars and concept designs for all to admire and this year’s show is set to be just as exciting as previous events, with a few surprises expected as usual.

It’s estimated that most visitors spend around 5 hours at the auto event which shows you just how much is going on, with entertainment laid on for both adults and children including video games, virtual reality demos and children’s play zones, so there’s something for everyone to get involved in and to take a look at.

Highlights at this year’s auto show include the all-new Porsche 911 and the new Mazda 3, as well as the world debut of the new Kia Soul – a boxy mini SUV that should be available in the UK from 2019 as an electric model only.

BMW’s X7 and the Audi e-tron GT Concept will also feature at this year’s LA Auto Show, so too will Toyota with their facelifted Prius which has been updated for 2019.
