Short, Simple, Clear Car Leasing

It’s a straightforward and hassle-free process leasing a car with Clear Car Leasing, however before you even start to look at the wide range of cars and vans we have available to lease, we recommend taking a look at your personal finances to make sure that when you apply for vehicle finance you really can afford it.

Why waste your time looking at leasing a Mercedes Benz GLE for £575.99 inc. VAT per month when really your budget only allows you the finance for a Volkswagen Polo at £180.00 inc. VAT per month!

As part of the leasing process, your credit history is checked and this result will be taken into account when deciding if your application is to be accepted, so the best advice is to take a look yourself in advance to see if you’re eligible for finance.

How To Budget For Your Next Lease Car with Clear Car Leasing

For personal customers, a Personal Finance Application form will require filling out and this will ask for personal details about your marital status, how many dependants live with you, address over the past 3 to 5 years, details of employment for the past 3 years and your incoming and outgoings for the month.

Business customers will be asked to fill out a Business Finance Application form which will ask for company details, address, details about the director/s and business bank information.

Based on the information provided by yourself, a decision will be made as to what kind of leasing contract you will be eligible for, either for personal use or through a Business Contract Hire (BCH) agreement.

When you apply to lease a car or van, you must consider the initial rental/deposit that must be paid at the start of your contract and decide how much you can afford to pay.

No matter what car or van you opt for, an initial rental/ deposit (non-refundable) must be paid up front before your fixed monthly payments begin.

Then you need to think about the cost of insurance and filling up with a tank of fuel (thank goodness you don’t have to worry about road tax, as this is covered as part of your contract for the duration of your lease term), plus delivery and collection is free too.

It’s really important that you stick to a budget, knowing you can afford the monthly payments for the length of lease term chosen – stretching yourself to more than you can actually afford could come back and bite you in the future.

It’s for this reason that we ask about your financial monthly incomings and outgoings when you apply and why our team of experts go through with each of our customers all of the financial implications associated with leasing – initial rental/deposit, monthly payments, excess mileage charges, early termination fees etc.. so you know what you can afford to lease based on your budget and what to expect when you lease with us.
