A full manufacturers warranty comes as standard with all cars from Clear Car Leasing

With any car there’s the usual responsibilities that come along with running one such as services, repairs and maintenance which will ensure your vehicle is well looked after and roadworthy for the length of your lease term.

Paying out for unexpected car costs can push your budget to the limit but with leasing your monthly outgoings can be controlled more easily.

Whilst your lease contract doesn’t include servicing, repair costs and maintenance unless you’ve taken out a maintenance package as part of your agreement, every brand new lease car from Clear Car Leasing comes with a full manufacturers warranty which tends to be for the duration of your lease term.

Who is responsible for repairs on a leased car?

A full manufacturers warranty comes as standard with all lease cars from Clear Car Leasing

Most car manufacturers offer a warranty for three years, some even longer, however this all depends on the make and model you lease. The warranty period for your chosen car will be included in more detail within your contract.

Under the manufacturers warranty, which can vary depending on the make and model chosen to lease, key elements such as the engine, gearbox and some electrics are covered in the event of a problem and if you decide to increase your lease period, an extended warranty can be purchased to ensure your cover remains intact.

Anything not covered as part of the manufacturer’s warranty will be down to you to take care of, unless you choose to add a maintenance package to your lease agreement, as this will include servicing and repairs to consumable parts such as tyres and brakes.

Adding a maintenance package to your lease contract does provide you with peace of mind, knowing that your car will be looked after for the duration of your lease term within one easy to manage fixed monthly payment – no unexpected running costs to surprise you!
