A Short Guide About The Delivery Of Your Lease Vehicle

Once you’ve ordered your brand new lease car or van with Clear Car Leasing, it’s time to sit back, relax and wait for your vehicle to arrive but just exactly how long does it take for your lease car to be delivered?

It’s an exciting time taking delivery of your new lease car and at Clear Car Leasing, we don’t want our customers to have to wait longer than is necessary.

If you’ve chosen a vehicle that wasn’t in stock at the time of ordering, the normal production time on a new vehicle can be anywhere from 8 weeks onwards. However, we will always try and help you find the right car or van that fits in with your preferred delivery date.

Short, Simple, Clear Car Leasing

Taking delivery of your brand new lease car or van is very exciting and Clear Car Leasing aim for this to be as swift as possible.

If the car or van you’ve chosen to lease is in stock at the point of order, we can normally arrange to have your brand new vehicle delivered to you in less than two weeks.

And if for any reason there’s a delay in the delivery of your brand new lease car or van to us and therefore to you, we are lucky enough to have access to a short-term lease fleet that could help bridge the gap in the event of a delay.

You’ll be contacted by telephone to arrange the delivery of your new lease vehicle on a day and at a time that’s convenient for you to your chosen address.

Once this has been arranged, we will inform you of the relevant details about your lease car or van so that you can insure your vehicle ready for delivery – a fully comprehensive insurance policy must be taken out when you lease a vehicle and the lessee obtaining finance for the vehicle must be the main policy holder on the certificate.

On the day of delivery, your brand new lease car or van will be delivered to you and the handover process can begin. Your lease vehicle will have enough fuel in it to cover you until you get to your nearest service station and two sets of keys, plus the relevant handbook/paperwork will be with the vehicle.

You’ll be asked to check that the registration number matches the one given to you and that the vehicle specifications of the car or van are what you ordered. A full inspection of the vehicle is advised and any noticeable damage should be made a note of. You should also make a note of the ‘delivery mileage’.

Once you’re happy with everything, you’ll be asked to show proof of insurance for your lease car or van and then it’s just a signature on the delivery note.

All that’s left to do once you’ve signed the delivery note is to take your brand new lease car out for a drive and enjoy!
